The first MKDELTA album was released 14th December 2007 on the net. As all of the project's previous tracks had been single-track releases with wildly varying sound and quality made on mikseri.net the 1st Serial Run EP was an attempt at creating a coherent whole of tracks. The EP was produced with the underlying idea of producing music with bipolar moods. Some of the tracks are seemingly happy sounding to the point of sounding manic but have underlying dark and harsh elements while other tracks have bleaker basic sound combined with lighter elements. 1st Serial Run EP's use of manic distorted breakbeats, D'n'B influences, chiptune sounds and bipolar moods lands it stylisticaly somewhat close to artists like Tarmvred, Curtis Chip, Somatic Responses and Sabrepulse. Reaction to the EP has been mixed with a number of listeners disliking the chiptune sounds, juvenile rhythm explorations, blocky chord progressions and master limiting while other have liked the dense rhythms and clashing moods.
