"everything and nothing" was recorded in 1998 over the span of a month at Joe Mattis' studio in Phoenixville, PA and produced by Mattis. The album is the follow-up to the band's first self-produced record, "These Streets." The band at the time consisted of Jim Speese, Mark Steffy, David Mattes and Shane Rozum. The album was mixed by Mattis and Tom Volpicelli and mastered by Volpicelli. The words "everything" or "nothing" appear in every song but one. The song "Disease" (written about Rush Limbaugh) was released as a single and garnered airplay on several regional radio stations including WRFY FM in Reading Pa.
