Dark Passion Play is the sixth studio album by Finnish Symphonic Power Metal band Nightwish. It is the first album to feature Anette Olzon as vocalist. Dark Passion Play was released on September 26, 2007 in Finland, September 28 in Europe and October 2, 2007 in the United States. Running at 75:43 minutes, it is their longest album to date, 15 minutes longer than the previously longest record (Once). The album has spawned six singles: "Eva", the album's lead single, was released on May 25, 2007 as a download-only single for charity; "Amaranth", released on August 22; Erämaan Viimeinen, which was released on December 5 in Finland only; "Bye Bye Beautiful", released on February 15, 2008; "The Islander" was released on May 21.
