7 Days Awake “Cthulhu” What’s happening here? “7 days awake” are undertaking a dangerous trip through the universe of rock, with the insane aim of bringing the maximal concentration of chaos to only one point. The myth is their inspiration. For the German trio 21st century “Krautrock” stands for: understanding a jam session as a ritual and explicitly avoiding the subjection to the various categories of “the ideal”. The origin of experimental rock does not discriminate between “imagination” and “reality”! Within the highly charged atmosphere of classical rock instruments and synthetic sounds of their electronic hardware, “7 days awake” play themselves into a deep psychedelic state of trance. Supported by the epic sound of the apocalyptic synthesizers of Philip Münch and other top-notch guest musicians they recreate the myth of “Krautrock”. Caution! Not for the faint-hearted! Heavy as lead and merciless! User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
