‘Bottle After Bottle’ is the first single to be released by Barnsley based, South Yorkshire five piece, GLASSYOUTH. Formed in 2006, the band, previously named The Headliners, quickly built up a large fan base and live audience through extensive touring of the UK. The band went on to win the 2007 Channel4 Unsigned Competition and were finalists within 2007’s Mobile Act Unsigned TV programme. With this and their fans support, the band then headed out on the road again, playing Glastonbury festival, T4 on the Beach (2007) along with support slots with the likes of 'Mark Ronson', 'The Holloways', 'The Wombats' and 'The Subways'. Having spent the majority of 2008 holed up in the studio with producer Alan Smyth (Arctic Monkeys, Reverend and the Makers, Pulp) recording tracks for their debut album ‘Never See Never Learn’; the band have emerged with a newly energised sound, energy and new name: GLASSYOUTH. Encapsulating this new drive and determination, ‘Bottle After Bottle’ is a perfect piece of upbeat indie pop rock, showcasing the band at their very best.
