Blue Tattoo is the third studio album from the Estonian all-girl band Vanilla Ninja. The album was released in 2005 and is the first (and only) studio album to feature vocalist Triinu Kivilaan. The album features the singles "Blue Tattoo", "I Know", and "Cool Vibes". Music videos were created for the singles; the videos for "Blue Tattoo" and "I Know" are included with the CD. The album continues the hard rock-infused pop sounds introduced on their second album, Traces of Sadness. Blue Tattoo adds more orchestration to some of the tracks, particularly the title track and "Cool Vibes". There are two versions of the album: the standard edition with 14 tracks (and 2 videos) and the limited edition with 26 tracks (and the 2 videos from the standard edition and 2 extra videos for "Cool Vibes" and "I Know (Unplugged)"). The album continued the band's chart-topping success on the charts in the band's native Estonia. It was also successful in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. Several tracks were included in Vanilla Ninja's 2005 Best Of release, along with tracks from their previous album, Traces of Sadness: "Blue Tattoo", "Cool Vibes", "My Puzzle of Dreams", "Never Gotta Know", "Corner of My Mind", and the extended version of "Blue Tattoo".
