Recorded 1976-77 in Worcester Massachusetts. Inspired by a line of science fiction books, called "Laser Books" that got a somewhat bad reputation within the science fiction community TRACK SUMMARY (1) Cougar Carson, master of the spaceways, tasked to find the missing Princess Vanessa, is set upon by space pirates. (2) Cougar faces the evil Dr. Malachi Zinn's SUBLIMINAL REEDUCATOR while Princess Vanessa takes matters into her own hands. (3) Enter the Cerians (from the planet Cerium)... (4) Cougar and Vanessa hook - um - team up. (5) The evil Dr. Zinn gets the upper hand. (6) Disaster is averted. "Attack" probably took the longest of all PRT projects to develop. It started sometime around the spring of ’76 with an idea to do a space-opera parody novel. Doctroid, Anne B., Al C., Mary H., Chris I., Steve K., and Major Zed wrote separate chapters, careful to leave cliff-hangers for the next author to cope with. David W. edited the whole mess, making more sense of it than it perhaps deserved. In the fall, at Triumph Studios Sever Street, David and Doctroid rewrote it for audio, making more revisions and logical consistency – totally scary. In the meantime, work progressed on other projects, like the ill-fated "Batteries Not Included" and the just-made-it-to-tape "Ontofuroia". Oh, and did we mention David had a job in the real world and everyone else was looking to graduate? (These second-order effects are often ignored.)
