As Super Novas is the fifth studio album by Brazilian singer Ivete Sangalo. It was released on October 25, 2005 by the Universal Music Brasil label. As in previous albums, in As Super Novas, Sangalo continues to fuse various elements of various musical genres in his musicality, including funk carioca, lambada, zouk and Latin pop, and fuses the elements with sounds of ax and funk, while the recurring themes continue to point to the love of two, in most of the tracks present in the work. The recordings of the project took place throughout 2005 in studios in Salvador, Bahia and Rio de Janeiro, with the production of Alexandre Lins.
