Viktim began writing the record that became "as love turns grey" in the fall of 2002. Emotinally wrecked, the album was written and recorded during the disintegration of programmer/singer eddiethreats long term relationship. Fueled by heartache, anger, alcohal, nyquil, phentermine, and a host of illicit narcotics, As Love Turn Grey stands as the evidence of a mans mental meltdown, and his time spent wallowing on the bottom of the bucket. The Album cover artwork is by Chad Micheal Ward, known for his work with Marilyn Manson, Static-X, The Cruxshadows, and more. The CD has still yet to have an "official release". After completion of the album, eddie felt cleansed, and almost as if the record had absorbed his pain, and that releasing it would spread that pain to others, like an infection. So instead the record was put aside on a shelf, and new material was recorded, which became the "cyberlust" ep.
