Released on 5/4/09, this album is the first compilation of tracks made by Emperor Charlemagne. Aachen refers to the ancient court of the Carolingian Empire of the time of Charlemagne himself. The tracks vary, from the atonal 12-tone methods of Serial Variations to the Straussian Ecclesiastes, to noise in a dubious 'tribute' to composer John Cage. Hopefully the first of more to come.
