For “Your Heart,” Joyner Lucas recruits hip-hop heavyweight, J. Cole, as they rap about hardships in a relationship and overcoming heartbreak. The surprise announcement of the song came in the form of an Instagram post revealing the song’s title and cover just hours before the release. The Joyner-directed visuals emulate elements of Eminem’s 1999 single “Guilty Conscious,” which featured Dr. Dre and Eminem portraying individuals' good and bad conscious, respectively.
