"You'll Never Know" by the English group 'Vice Squad' was at the top of the KALX radio charts in San Francisco and other urban non commercial radio through June and July of 1984. At that time R.E.M was still predominantly heard on college radio. The Bangles were also popular on the same "non commercial" channel with their version of "Going Down To Liverpool". Until recently it was taught in various history classes that Marie Antoinette was misquoted as saying "let them eat cake" instead of what she supposedly said
