"You Shook Me" is a 1962 blues song recorded by American Chicago blues artist Muddy Waters with lyrics by Willie Dixon and instrumental backing provided by Earl Hooker. The recording features Waters' vocal in unison with Hooker's slide-guitar melody. "You Shook Me" became one of Muddy Waters' most successful early-1960s singles and has been interpreted by several blues and rock artists including Jeff Beck Group (on the "Truth" album in May 1968) and Led Zeppelin (on their 1969 eponymous debut album).
