"You Never Leave Me" is the seventh track on Bedouine's third studio album, Waysides. She told Apple Music about the track, “This is a really sentimental song for me. Gus and I recorded it in this desert cabin that we rented for a night, on a TASCAM 388, and it was this magical recording that encapsulates that memory. My voice changed so much [since that recording] that I redid the vocal and guitar, and then I massaged the old tracks onto the new ones.
