"You Make My Dreams" is a 1980 single by Hall & Oates from their album Voices. The song reached number five on the Pop Singles chart in 1981. Vocals from Hall & Oates "You Make My Dreams" were later sampled on R&B singer Amerie's song "Take Control". American pop rock band Mêlée included a cover version of "You Make My Dreams" on their album Devils & Angels. It has been featured in the television shows The Office, Cupid, and Glee, as well as the movies Step Brothers, the documentary My Date With Drew, and The Wedding Singer.
