“You Haunt Me” is the fourth track and the third single of Sir Sly’s eponymous debut album. The singer’s girlfriend got tired about how little he cared about her, and left. Now he’s retreated into alcoholism to drown his sorrows and hopefully forget about her. Whiskey and wine brings up the word “spirits” (as in the alcoholic beverage), which relates to how the thought of her bothers the singer to no end, even though she has left him. - Chihuahua0 via Genius Annotations
