Reaching an impressive rank of fifth on the U.K singles chart, The second released single off of the album "Without You I'm Nothing", "You Don't Care About Us" is "directed towards me (Brian Molko) , written from the point of view of someone I used to be in a relationship with" Frontman Brian Molko told NME in 1998 at the time of it's release. The music video for the track features the band once again under water, mimicking the video for the song "36 Degrees" from their album prior, being thrown into aquarium tanks as 'Shark food'.
