"Yakety Yak" is a song written, produced, and arranged by American songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller for The Coasters. First released as a single on Atco Records in 1958, the song spend seven weeks as #1 on the US R&B charts and a week as number one on the US Top 100 pop list. The sax solo is by King Curtis.
