"X" (also known as "Multiply") is a song by the American heavy metal band System of a Down. It addresses themes including immigration, overpopulation, and the Armenian Genocide of 1915, a subject referenced in several of the band’s songs. The 2006 film "Screamers", which focuses on the Armenian Genocide, features appearances by members of System of a Down, primarily Serj Tankian. The song was written prior to the band’s self-titled debut album
