“WOW” by Swedish pop star Zara Larsson was first used in an advertisement for Citi in the United States. It was then registered on music recognition app Shazam and released on April 26, 2019. The song was featured in the 2020 Netflix movie Work It. The song started gaining traction and began receiving airplay in the US, as the official next single from Zara’s third album Poster Girl.
