This song was originally released as a split seven inch with A Sometimes Promise on Stratagem Ripcords in 1997. It was written by guitarist Mike Chang about a Jehovah's Witness he had a crush on. Mike was a badass guitarist because he had been really into the death metal band Obituary and then joined the high school jazz band and learned to play So What by Miles Davis. Singer Jacob Eichert wrote the lyrics. His brother Zack played drums. Paul Green played bass and Paul's dad, Galen, paid for the recording by Dave Waterbury.
