“Wings” is the Jonas Brothers' first release in almost a year and a half, following the release of their September 2021 single, “Who’s In Your Head.” The song serves as the lead single from the boys' sixth studio album, The Album. Lyrically, they credit their respective significant others for giving them courage and making their lives better. On January 27, 2023, the boys sat down for an interview with Variety, in which they talked about their album, and this song was one of the few song titles that they revealed.
