Although the album was released in early April, "Wildside" was pre-released on digital platforms on March 28 along with its music video. "Wildside" is described as a song that has a cool and alluring atmosphere that is unique to Red Velvet. The lyrics talk about not giving up until you reach the place you have been desiring. The track debuted at #5 on the Oricon Albums Chart for the week of April 4-10, 2022.
