Wildfire is inspired by Boston physician and Revolutionary War patriot Joseph Warren, who was killed at Bunker Hill after abandoning the rank of Major General to join the battlefield as a Private . Warren is the namesake of Watchouse songwriter Andrew Marlin's hometown: Warrenton, North Carolina, USA (population 822).
