The title track of the 2010 album 'White Crosses' was released on August 31st 2010 as the second single from the record. Against Me! frontwoman Laura Jane Grace described it as being a 'pro choice' song and being about her keeping her trans identity a secret. What Laura said to SongFacts about the song: "Around the corner from the house I was living in, which was off of San Marco Avenue, north of downtown, there was a church and on the lawn they had placed 4000 wooden white crosses, each about a foot high off the ground.
