"Warrior" was released on January 15, 2016 as the first promotional single from AURORA's debut album All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend. It is the eighth track on the album. The song is for AURORA fans (nicknamed warriors and weirdos). Asked if her fans had a nickname, she said to Music Norway in 2015: "Warriors! First I didn't really know what they meant about it, but then I was like well – we're all warriors, warriors of light. It's a nice thought to have. I was inspired to write a song about it."
