'Walk On' was written by Dukus Alemay in September 2009. Bill Carter came up with the guitar part while rehearsing for a Dukus Is Dead show in July of the same year. Dukus toyed with a few ideas but couldn't really find the right song to sit on top, but like most of his lyrics, he used his situation at the time to display a sad, solemn poem like song to his imaginary pain. The song was recorded in one take with his own equipment.
