Written by Geoff Farina and The Secret Stars, this single was released on Simple Machine records in 1995 with the song "Riot Kill" as a B-side. This single is now out of print. Indie-rock band Death Cab for Cutie renewed interest in the single when a cover version of the song appeared on the expanded re-release of their debut record You Can Play These Songs With Chords on Barsuk Records in 2002.
