Voodoo Chile is the third song from the Jimi Hendrix Experience's third studio album Electric Ladyland. It was written and produced by Jimi Hendrix. It was the Experience's longest studio song, coming in at 15 minutes long. Hendrix based the song off of a blues song he had written the previous year called "Catfish Blues."
