"Virginia," Archy and Mehitabel's first single, is a benefit track for The Matthew Shepard Foundation. All proceeds from the sale of this album go directly to the organization to help them in their work of preserving and protecting the lives and futures of young GLBT people, especially those in rural areas. The choral section near the end of the track is an arrangement of a Renaissance chanson by composer Josquin Des Prez titled, "Mille Regretz."
