On ‘vent’, Baby Keem vents his anger into his verses. He raps about his fame and his displeasure of his friends who are now acting greedy and those acting like ‘rats’. The fiery chorus is performed by his cousin Kendrick Lamar who also performs the ‘fade’ outro. Kendrick has a writing credit on this song for his contributions. He originally had his own verse in the first version of this song which he would use for his own song N95. The two cousins released the single family ties before the album drop.
