Vampire Empire is a stand alone Big Thief single that the band debuted at live shows in November 2022. In July 2023, it was announced via the band’s social media’s that the single would drop on July 19th of that same year. On September 13th, 2023, a B-side to Vampire Empire, called Born for Loving You, was released. The two songs are available together as a single and as a physical 7-inch vinyl.
