From the Starter's 2013 CD, Soul Clap Its Hands, this was recorded and mixed by Rilo Kiley's Pierre de Reeder. Listen closely and hear a little bit of Marvelettes in there. In the story, a man is teased and toyed with by a woman he can never have. The theme of the lyric is, are boys more vulnerable than girls, or is it only boys who play music? The song has a shuffle feel. The performers are John Ferrigno, Paul Ferrigno, Blakely Berger, Mark Bush, Mike Briones, and Will Vargas. The chord changes are reminiscent of early Elvis Costello.
