This song was initially mentioned in a December 2015 interview with SPIN along with other Joyride album contenders such as "Player", "Fires and Flames", "Not for Nothing", "Ghetto Boy", "Prisoner", among others. After "Touch Pass" was scrapped from Joyride, the song was released in November 2016 as the fourteenth track on its 'companion project', Nightride.
