"Too Close" is the second single from English boy band Blue's debut studio album, All Rise. It is a cover version of the 1997 single from American R&B group Next and was written by Kay Gee, Terry Brown, Robert Huggar, and Raphael Brown. Produced by multi-platinum producer Ray Ruffin, Blue's version was released on 27 August 2001 and it became their first #1 UK single. It also reached #5 in Australia and #17 in Ireland but was a chart-topper in New Zealand, where the Next version had also been a #1 hit.
