“Tomorrow” is Silverchair’s most popular track. The international commercial success of the song had a significant impact on Australian music and musicians in the 90s. Written by singer/guitarist Daniel Johns and drummer Ben Gillies when the pair were only fifteen, the song operates firmly within 90s grunge-era rock. When asked about the inspiration for “Tomorrow,” Johns said: "That was on a TV show. There was this poor guy taking a rich guy through a hotel to experience the losses of the less fortunate than him.
