The introductory track to Avenged Sevenfold's first studio album Sounding the Seventh Trumpet. The original version of "To End the Rapture" consisted of M. Shadows on vocals and Justin Sane (bassist until late 2001) on piano. The re-release of the album featured "To End The Rapture (Heavy Metal Version)" which was performed by the band's lead guitarist, Synyster Gates (who initially joined the band after the album's completion).
