By the time Teardrop Explodes were writing and releasing their secon dalbum 'Wilder' the band was already falling apart. 'Tiny Children' documents this perfectly with lines like 'Fighting men aboard a raft/A sailing ship has run aground and/Confidence is valued in these days....' Without a doubt one of the greatest bands to come from Liverpool, England they fell apart not long after the release of Wilder and Julian Cope went on to have a varied solo career which is still going today. This song is possibly Teardrop Explodes finest hour.
