Originally released in 1961 as the A-side of the band's second single, "Thunderbird" b/w "Ole Jose". Later included on the band's sole record Wine, Wine, Wine, released the same year. Despite performing and distributing the album, the band never applied for its copyright. This would lead to legal controversy when ZZ Top released a live cover of the song on their 1975 album Fandango!, crediting its writing to themselves. The Nightcaps sued ZZ Top for copyright infringement
