"The Tornado" is the sixth track on Coco Moon, the seventh studio album by American electronica project Owl City. The song is notable for featuring a brief moment of a screamo breakdown which Adam Young has dabbled at in previous side projects such as Aquarium and Novel. "The Tornado" has since grown to become a fan favorite on the album and many Owl City fans have praised the song for its unique production flourishes as well as Young's unexpected vocal performance.
