In an interview, Ryan Guldemond explained the song as “this ridiculous conversation in my head between a guy and a girl. One was very misanthropic (the guy) and the other was inquisitive and naive and easily influenced (the girl)… In the last stages of writing Eureka, I put it to music and it was a nice little accident.”
