“The News” was released alongside ‘'Loyal’,' featuring Drake, on November 22nd, 2019. The songs are suspected to be the first two singles for PARTYNEXTDOOR’s long awaited project, first mentioned in 2017, reportedly named Club Atlantis. On the track, PND sings to his significant other, telling them that they don’t deserve him, and seemingly implicating that they are cheating on him, or are at least not fully committed within the relationship.
