"The Magic Number" is the second track from De La Soul's debut album "3 Feet High and Rising". The track heavily samples "Three is a Magic Number" by Bob Dorough, from the animated series "Schoolhouse Rock!" "The Magic Number" was featured in the credits of the 2021 film "Spider-Man: No Way Home". Trugoy the Dove of De La Soul recalled to Rolling Stone : "There was no plan back then. It was just putting songs together and placing them where they belonged.
