This song, like many others on Disgusting, is largely about depression. It explores the struggle of trying to hide it from the people you love. People with depression become very skilled at this, but deep down they want someone to see through it. “I’m fine” is a commonly used expression, which is repeated several times throughout the song. The speaker is expressing that he wants someone to read into it more and realize that he’s not okay. He wants to feel like he’s not alone, he wants someone to understand him.
