"The Lady in My Life" is a song by Michael Jackson. It Is the last track from the Thriller album. It is one of the only two non-single tracks on the album. Recorded in 1982. Jackson stated it was one of the hardest songs to make for the album. He later said “We were used to doing a lot of takes, in order to get the vocal as nearly perfect as possible, but Quincy wasn't satisfied with my work on that song, even after literally dozens of takes. Finally, he took me aside late one session, and told me he wanted me to beg.
