“The City” is a track from The 1975’s self-titled debut album. It was originally released on their IV EP. Lead singer, Matty, has said the following regarding the song: "It’s a love song I suppose – a love letter to the baffling cacophony that is teenage self exploration in places loud and inspiring." The music video was released on August 28th, 2013.
