Tender Buttons is the third song on Broadcast's album of the same name. It was made available as a B-side to the track America’s Boy on August 15, 2005. Style and sound-wise, Broadcast evidently took influences from the 50s West Coast scene (Rock ‘n’ roll and composers like Terry Riley), 60s Psychedelic Rock and 90s Electronica, but added a unique, 21st Century twist. The song takes it’s title from the 1914 book of the same name by Gertrude Stein.
