Tapioca is the eleventh track from Italian singer-songwriter Francesca Michielin's third studio album 2640. It was written by Francesca Michielin, Cosmo and Calcutta and released on the 12 January 2018, along with the rest of the album. It was first performed on 8 January at the 2640 press conference. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Michielin said: "I grew up in a multiethnic neighborhood of Bassano del Grappa, in front of our house there is a center where the various populations can celebrate their rites.
