Originally included on Bruno’s debut studio EP release It’s Better If You Don’t Understand, “Talking to the Moon” is a jazz power ballad with a stripped-down production — its instrumental is essentially composed of the sounds of drums and piano. This song is essentially about Bruno’s long-distance relationship with a girl. Bruno confessed that “Talking to the Moon” is his favorite song from the record, commenting it on Sound on Sound:
