"Swine" delves into themes of dehumanization, manipulation and self-empowerment. The lyrics represent a confrontation of someone who is seen as animalistic, manipulative and disgusting. In the verses and pre-chorus, Lady Gaga is addressing the person she refers to as a "swine" or a "pig inside a human body". She tells them to hush up, refusing to listen to their words anymore. She perceives them as trying to act special but ultimately being a shallow person deep down.
